Eimear brings over 28 years experience to the consultancy gained in both public and private sectors in the South East, London and Ireland. She is a Chartered Member of both the RTPI and IHBC and has gained a BSc (Hons) Environmental Planning, a Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Design, a Post Graduate Diploma in Historic Buildings with the University of York.
She is also a PAS / IdeA /Atlas Accredited Consultant. In 2018 she received accreditation as a Designated Service Advisor through the IHBC's recognition and service provision - Historic Environment Service Provider (HESPR) .
Her work includes cases in rural, agricultural, coastal, urban and city environments. She has a wide portfolio of experience from every day planning matters, to schemes involving major residential/ mixed use schemes, urban expansion, assessing village /town settlement patterns townscapes, conservation areas, historic area evolution and individual listed buildings.
Eimear has always sought to integrate her knowledge and abilities with design and heritage where appropriate, Therefore her training and practise in those fields has added value to the professional service offered to clients. Due to her experience and specialisms, she adds value to the projects she is engaged in, providing straight-forward practical advice.
She has successfully acted for private clients and LPAs at appeal and often appearing as an Expert Witness at Public Inquiries.
